Want to explore sunken ships, crashed planes, and lost treasures beneath the surface? Then the PADI Wreck Diver program is just what you want. During your PADI Wreck Diver program you'll go on four open water dives, which may be conducted over at least two days. This is where you'll put into practice the information you gained from listening to your instructor and from the PADI Wreck Diving Manual and video.

This specialty can be used as one of five Specialty certifications required for your
Master Scuba Diver certification.

What Is Involved?

As part of your PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course, you'll learn about:

· Techniques for diving exploring shipwrecks, and how to avoid common hazards

· How to research and learn the background of your favorite wrecks

· Wreck scuba diving equipment considerations

· Considerations and techniques for entering intact wrecks

· Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four wreck dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor

There are 4 open water dives that are required for certification.

Who Can Learn?


· At least fifteen years old.

· Certified to the Adventure Diver level or equivalent.

How Much Does it Cost?

The cost of the course is $199 (tuition), plus PADI course materials. Students are also responsible for the cost of the corresponding coastal charter or park fees.
