Deep Diver

Blue Region Scuba’s and PADI's Deep Diver program offers you the adventure of a lifetime going deep to see things others only dream about. The program includes four open water dives, which are conducted over at least two days. The minimum depth for the deep dives is between 18 to 30 meters/60 to 100 feet, with no dive exceeding 40 meters/130 feet. All your dives will be conducted within the no-decompression limits, with deeper dives conducted first.

This specialty can be used as one of five Specialty certifications required for your
Master Scuba Diver certification.

What Is Involved?

As part of your PADI Deep Diver Specialty course, you'll learn about:

Techniques for diving in the deeper range of 18-40 metres/ 60-130 feet

Deep scuba diving equipment considerations

Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four deep dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.

There are 4 Open Water Dives that are required for completion and certification of this course.

Who Can Learn?

At least fifteen years old.

Certified to the Adventure Diver level with Deep Dive,or equivalent.

How Much Does it Cost?

The cost of the course is $199 (tuition), plus course materials. Students are also responsible for the cost of the corresponding coastal charter or park fees.
