Blue Region Scuba’s

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy

Peak Performance Buoyancy

Blue Region Scuba and PADI's Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB) course provides you an opportunity to polish buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level.

This specialty can be used as one of five Specialty certifications required for your
Master Scuba Diver certification.

What Is Involved?

In this course, you learn:

· How to trim your scuba gear so you're perfectly balanced in the water

· Nuances in determining weight so you're not too light nor too heavy by even a slight degree

· How to streamline to save air and move smoothly through the water

· How to hover effortlessly in both a vertical position and a horizontal position

Who Can Learn?

· At least ten years old.

· PADI (Jr.) Scuba Diver level or equivalent.

When Can I Start?

Since the PPB specialty requires only 2 dives for completion, most students elect to complete this specialty in conjunction with their AOW course by completing an additional PPB dive on Sunday. Dates and times will correspond with the respective AOW class with the addition of a 3rd dive on Sunday.
