The Gulf Stream comes closer to the West Palm Beach area than anywhere in the US so you have a great variety of fish, corals and pelagic. There are actually more concentrations of fish species than anywhere in the Caribbean. The reef is healthy and growing, so life abounds. Plus you only have a 30 minutes boat ride (compare that to a 2 1/2 hour in NC), visibility up to 100', warm waters and you don't have to catch a flight out of the country. As we all know, the out of country flights prices are rising. All and all, this is a great diving value. |
