We have had numerous requests to go back to the Plaza Resort Bonaire for an unlimited week of diving, sun bathing, resting, relaxing, walking on the sandy beach, eating great food, sight seeing, and, of course, fantastic diving while topside in luxury accommodations. This is Blue Region Scuba's 18th time to Bonaire, and we can't wait.

For those of you who have never been to Bonaire, it is a paradise that can be enjoyed by divers as well as non-divers, so folks grab your significant other and the kids and let's go have FUN! Bonaire offers excitement and things to do for people of all ages and interests. You can take tours of the island or it's waters. You can go Bonefish fishing, tour Kralendick, the main city, or Rincon, a quaint village, visit the estuaries to see the beginning of fish life, go horseback riding, or just relax on a beautiful combed beach watching the clear azure waters and the 1 to 2 inch waves caress the shoreline. The Plaza Resort Bonaire offers 3 restaurants, a Casino, 2 shops for your immediate needs, a beach bar, large pool to relax by and diving off it's shores that are as good as any in Bonaire. For shore diving at the Plaza there are tanks at 2 locations at the beach so us divers can be lazy and not have to carry the tanks any further than we have to. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned.

Now, let's talk about the snorkeling and diving. The waters of Bonaire is a visual bonanza of life and corals. The crystal clear waters, extremely mild currents and shallow depths create a wonderland for both snorkelers and divers. Some of the reef starts in 10-14 feet of water with an abundance of marine life. You can snorkel or dive until your heart is content (or your back is sunburned from the warm Caribbean Sun). We have had some folks that have done 30+ dives in a week with dives, because of the shallow depths, that can exceed an hour. For you monster divers, this is heaven. This a fantastic trip that everyone will enjoy and want to do again and again. We booked this trip without air fare because some of Blue Region Scuba Divers will be coming from other areas and even from Europe or they have air miles they want to burn, however, if you want us to get the airfare from RDU, we will be happy to do so. We already have 18 on the trip, and we are going to have to cut off the number around 28 lucky people to enjoy this Blue Region Scuba Adventure. If you want to go, we need a $300 deposit in ASAP to hold your spot. We cannot hold your spot without a deposit, so let's get cracking.
